What information do you collect about my child?

When you setup matchbooks and create a profile for your child, we ask them for their first name, their age and their gender. This is the only information we ask about your child, and store. We purposefully do not ask for any information that can uniquely identify your child.

How do you make sure that the created stories are safe for children to read?

We take child safety very seriously. It is our primary responsibility, focus and concern. We go into considerable detail on our safety page.

When my child talks to the narrators, Kai and Liv, who are they talking to?

Kai and Liv, our friendly narrators, are powered by advanced AI models. They are not real people, but sophisticated text-to-speech AI creations designed to interact and engage with your child in a safe, controlled environment. These AI characters are programmed to respond in a way that's both realistic and appropriate for children.

Is it safe for my child to talk with an AI?

Absolutely. The safety of your child is our top priority. We use world-leading AI safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure interaction. The AI behind Kai and Liv is crafted to be not only engaging but also protective of your child's well-being, ensuring that their interactions are always age-appropriate and respectful.

What if my child asks the narrators for something inappropriate?

Our AI is specifically trained to handle such situations gracefully. If a child veers towards an inappropriate topic, Kai and Liv are programmed to redirect the conversation to friendly and inviting subjects. We have multiple layers of protection in place to filter out any unsuitable topics, language, or ideas, ensuring that the storytelling experience remains wholesome and enjoyable for your child.

Can I jump up the waitlist?

Absolutely! You can move up the waitlist by sharing Matchbooks with your friends and followers. The more people you refer who join the waitlist, the quicker you'll climb up.
